Tools and solutions that unify health data, offer key insights, and put essential patient information at your fingertips.
Rhode Island HIE is committed to making health information accessible when and where it is needed most. Our services help healthcare organizations overcome some of the biggest challenges in care delivery by connecting critical patient data across providers, care settings, and systems.
By creating a more complete view of a patient’s health history, Rhode Island HIE saves providers and care teams valuable time, enhances care coordination, reduces information silos, and decreases administrative burden. Our suite of innovative tools delivers actionable insights, customizable reporting, and advanced filtering capabilities that help identify at-risk populations, improve patient outcomes, and support compliance with quality programs and reporting requirements.
The CRISP Event Notification Delivery (CEND) system is Rhode Island HIE’s real-time alerts system, providing healthcare organizations with timely notifications when their patients visit an emergency department, are admitted to a hospital, or are discharged from care.
By matching hospital encounter data to patient panels, CEND delivers relevant notifications to all of the patient’s care teams, supporting improved care coordination, smoother transitions of care, and compliance with regulatory and program requirements.
